Police in Kisumu have recovered another vehicle, a Toyota Voxy KDS 990N, from the rented house of suspected theft mastermind Evans Otieno Meda, bringing the total number of recovered stolen vehicles to 12. This comes as part of an ongoing investigation into a suspected stolen vehicles syndicate.

• 11 of the 12 vehicles recovered do not belong to the main suspect and are registered to individuals outside of Kisumu county.
• The main suspect, Evans Otieno Meda, is currently on the run, while two other suspects, Michael Mwaga and Peter Andei, are scheduled for arraignment.
• A team from DCI Crime Scene Investigations is analyzing the vehicles' chassis numbers to aid in the probe.
