The hate speech case against Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has been referred to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) for review and recommendations before proceeding to a full hearing. This move came at the request of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to allow NCIC to assess the matter and advise on appropriate action.
