A survivor described the moments leading up to a fatal road accident in Nairobi on Tuesday, October 7, where a bus plunged into a river, killing four people and injuring over 20.

• The bus, initially moving normally, began speeding at Waruku, Kawangware, before the driver lost control.
• Locals are urging the government, specifically the Nairobi County Government, to renovate or close the road, as it is reportedly a pedestrian route and has seen previous accidents.
• Injured passengers, many with severe injuries and fractures, were treated by medical officer James Kihuri at a local health center.
