Elon Musk has reached a settlement in a $128 million lawsuit filed by four former top executives of Twitter (now X) over unpaid severance following his 2022 acquisition of the company.

• The lawsuit, filed last year, involved former CEO Parag Agrawal and three other senior executives who claimed they were fired "without reason" and denied severance payments.
• The settlement terms were not disclosed, and this is one of several legal challenges Musk and X have faced regarding unpaid severance.
• In August, Musk and X also settled a separate lawsuit with approximately 6,000 former rank-and-file employees seeking $500 million in severance pay.
