A total of 20,754 new voters were registered, with 3,207 Kenyans transferring their votes and 61 updating their details as of October 8, 2025.
The IEBC Chairman, Erastus Ethekon, urged citizens to participate, noting Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kiambu lead in registrations, while Nyamira, Lamu, and Tana River lagged significantly.
The IEBC aims to register 6.3 million new voters, however, the CVR is currently not active in 24 electoral areas with by-elections scheduled for November 27, 2025.
