A week-long multi-agency operation, codenamed 'Usalama XI', led by the DCI's National Central Bureau (NCB-Nairobi) and the Operations Directorate, has resulted in significant seizures of narcotics, counterfeit goods, and several arrests across Kenya.
- Over 568 kilograms of cannabis sativa, valued at approximately Ksh.17 million, were seized from a truck traveling from Mombasa to Nairobi.
- Detectives confiscated counterfeit US currency worth $31,700 (Ksh.4 million) and arrested Nanji Nabil Taj in Lang'ata on October 8, 2025.
- Five elephant tusks, with an estimated value of Ksh. 7.8 million, were recovered along Mombasa Road on October 6, 2025, leading to two arrests.
