The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested four suspects in Kenya linked to an international cocaine trafficking syndicate using Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as a transit hub.

• 750 grams of cocaine, valued at KSh 2.9 million, was seized in Nairobi during the operation.
• The arrests, conducted by the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) between October 5 and 7, 2025, include an alleged ringleader and his cousin apprehended at Nyali Centre in Mombasa.
• The syndicate is linked to a British national arrested in London with 20 kilograms of cocaine, with a dual Kenyan-British citizen suspected of coordinating shipments through JKIA.
