The Kenya International Freight and Warehousing Association (Kifwa) has partnered with Capital Pay International Ltd in a $80 million (Sh10.3 billion) deal to digitize Kenya's logistics sector through a new Centralised Clearing and Forwarding Management System (CCFMS).

• The 20-year partnership will involve an initial $10 million (Sh1.3 billion) investment for system development.
• Fredrick Aloo, National Chairman of Kifwa, stated that digitization is crucial "to speed up clearance processes but also to ensure professionalism, accountability, and compliance."
• The CCFMS will integrate key stakeholders like Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), enhancing efficiency and transparency.
