Spanish police arrested 17 people in Vitoria after supporters of former dictator Francisco Franco clashed with counter-protesters on Sunday.

• 17 arrests were made for public disorder following the clashes in Vitoria.
• The Falange, an organization identifying as the successor to defunct fascist movements, rallied to defend "the unity of Spain."
• Approximately 20 officers sustained light bruises, and injured protesters received on-scene medical treatment.
