The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a rain forecast for several regions across Kenya between Tuesday, October 14, and Saturday, October 18. Residents in areas including Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Naivasha are advised to prepare for increased rainfall.

• Nairobi, Kiambu, Kericho, Eldoret, Nakuru, Naivasha, Kisumu, and Lodwar are among the major towns expected to experience rain and showers.
• Rainfall is anticipated in the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, North-Eastern, and North-western Kenya.
• Temperatures in counties like Nyandarua and Nairobi are projected to reach a maximum of 30°C and a minimum of 06°C.
• Rain and showers accompanied by thunderstorms are predicted for Kisumu, Kisii, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot with maximum temperatures of 32°C and minimums of 8°C.
• Coastal counties such as Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale will experience sunny conditions, with scattered showers expected on Friday and Saturday, and temperatures ranging from 23°C to 32°C.
• Turkana and Samburu counties are expected to have temperatures up to 37°C, with sunny days and cloudy nights.
