MP Julius Rutto penned a letter to the Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs, Roseline Njogu, on October 13, seeking assistance for Chelangat's return.
Frenda Chelangat is currently unable to work due to illness and faces difficulty repatriating as her agency refuses to release travel documents.
The lawmaker requested aid for repatriation costs including a plane ticket to Nairobi, temporary housing, living expenses, and immediate medical access.
