The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that fuel prices in Kenya will remain unchanged for the next 30 days, from October 15 to November 14, 2025. This decision aims to protect consumers while ensuring recovery of importation costs.

• Motorists in Nairobi will continue to pay Sh184.52 for Super Petrol, Sh171.47 for Diesel, and Sh154.78 for Kerosene.
• The prices include a 16 percent Value Added Tax (VAT) as stipulated by the Finance Act 2023 and other relevant legislation.
• The average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased by 0.10 percent, while Diesel and Kerosene saw slight increases of 1.57 percent and 2.97 percent respectively.
• EPRA Director General Daniel Kiptoo stated that the pricing regulations ensure recovery of legitimate costs and protection of consumers from high fuel prices.
