• KEBS has integrated collaboration into its core operations, focusing on areas like public health, food security, and energy.
• A partnership with the Ministry of Health on the national fortification program has addressed malnutrition by standardizing maize flour with essential vitamins and minerals.
• Collaborations with the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) ensure fuel quality and protect consumers from substandard products.
• Partnerships with academia are tackling food chain threats like aflatoxin, while agreements such as the Kenya-Uganda MoU and East African Community (EAC) treaty bolster regional trade, as noted by Cabinet Secretary for Trade Lee Kinyanjui.
