Although ODM and the government are yet to issue a formal statement, several politicians and party officials have shared cryptic messages on social media.

• ODM Director of Communications Phillip Etale posted "I am deflated" on X.
• Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina wrote, "Eeehhh Taaa! What a day."
• Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o posted a black portrait, while Kileleshwa MP Robert Alai shared a photo of Odinga captioned "Baba."
• Even former ally Miguna Miguna, despite their past conflict, offered condolences: "Our condolences to the family of Raila Odinga. Rest in peace, Jakom."
• Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka also bid farewell, stating, "Farewell to the indomitable Raila Amollo Odinga; an enigma whose spirit, vision, and legacy will live on forever. R.I.P Baba."
