Following the unfortunate news of Raila Odinga's passing, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has appealed to supporters to avoid crowding Raila's Karen home. The family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, leading to discussions about establishing alternative mourning points.

• Sifuna stated that Mama Ida Odinga was overwhelmed by supporters at the Karen home.
• A delegation including Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, CSs Kipchumba Murkomen and Hassan Joho, and Mama Ida will travel to India for repatriation.
• Raila Odinga, who passed away in India, will be accorded a state funeral, with arrangements coordinated by a committee co-chaired by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga.
