The Ministry of Health (MOH) has deployed 36 ambulances to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for the reception of Raila Odinga's body, which arrived on October 16, 2025. These ambulances are equipped with both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) facilities to ensure emergency medical coverage.

• A total of 36 ambulances from various organizations, including 20 from the Kenya Red Cross, were mobilized.
• Medical Services Principal Secretary, Dr. Ouma Oluga, announced the deployment, with each ambulance staffed by a paramedic, nurse, and driver.
• The Kenya Red Cross also has teams on standby to offer humanitarian and psychosocial support, including mental health services, to mourners.
