LOOP DFS has officially launched LOOP FLEX, its much-anticipated Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution in Kenya, following initial reports in August 2024. This credit facility is designed to offer customers flexible shopping options.

• Customers can make purchases with a minimum 10% deposit, repaying the balance in monthly installments for up to 12 months, with interest applied.
• LOOP FLEX offers credit limits ranging from KES 15,000 to KES 1 million, with users able to hold up to five active FLEX loans simultaneously.
• According to CEO Eric Muriuki, LOOP FLEX aims to enable customers to enjoy life while responsibly managing their finances.
• The product operates on risk-based pricing, including a 4% facility fee plus excise duty, and was initially reported when Kenya's BNPL sector was valued at around $1.26 billion.
