The 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations are underway across Kenya, involving over 960,000 candidates. The national assessments will also include Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), engaging a total of over 3.4 million candidates nationwide.

• Over 960,000 candidates are sitting for the KCSE exams.
• Initial oral papers for foreign and sign languages began on October 22, with written papers scheduled from November 4 to November 21, 2025.
• The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), led by CEO David Njengere, registered 996,078 KCSE candidates and has installed an additional 25 storage containers to enhance exam security.
• A total of 3,424,836 candidates will undertake national examinations and assessments this year, with field administration concluding on November 21, 2025.
