Kenya has formally initiated the extradition of British soldier Robert James Purkiss, accused of murdering Agnes Wanjiru in Nanyuki in 2012. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) confirmed that the request has been submitted to the Attorney General’s office, with documentation officially received on October 9, 2025.
