• He criticized the government and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) for their silence, demanding swift investigations and accountability for those who ordered the use of live ammunition.
• Sonko issued an ultimatum to the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), stating he would hire lawyers for the victims if they fail to act, dismissing claims his intervention is politically motivated ahead of the 2027 elections.
