The National Treasury has approved the construction of the Rironi-Mau Summit highway after the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Committee greenlit the project proposal. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) announced that the feasibility report met all necessary criteria.
- The Ksh200 billion, 175-kilometre highway project will connect Nairobi and Nakuru.
- The project is a collaboration between China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), National Social Security Fund Trustees (NSSF), and Shandong Hi-Speed Road and Bridge International.
