The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued final guidelines for the 2025 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), which began on Monday, October 27. These assessments will run concurrently with the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.

• KNEC stipulated exam containers for KPSEA and KJSEA open at 6 AM, while KCSE containers open at 7 AM.
• Personnel mobile phones must be locked away, with the key held by the supervisor.
• The KPSEA for Grade 6 learners runs from October 27 to October 30.
• The Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) for special needs learners is from October 27 to October 31.
• The KJSEA and Kenya Pre-Vocational Level Education Assessment (KPLEA) will be conducted over nine days, from October 27 to November 6.
• Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba assured the public of a smooth examination process despite prior uncertainties.
