Kenyans living abroad will soon have access to a group medical insurance cover designed to ease the financial and emotional burden of medical emergencies for themselves and their families back home. This initiative addresses a long-standing challenge for the diaspora community.

• The initiative is spearheaded by the Kenya Diaspora Alliance (KDA) in partnership with Jubilee Health Insurance, Kenbright Insurance Brokers, and Bupa Global.
• Jubilee Health Insurance will manage coverage for families and dependents within Kenya, offering inpatient, outpatient, and chronic disease support.
• Bupa Global will extend comprehensive international coverage for diaspora members, including access to a network of over 2.4 million providers worldwide and medical evacuation services.
• Dr. Shem Ochuodho, Global Chair of the Kenya Diaspora Alliance, stated the cover responds to members' need for trusted global healthcare without emotional or financial distress.
