Doctors from Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala, India, are in Kenya to pay their final respects to the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who died from cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Koothattakulam on October 15 after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Ayurvedic centre where he was receiving treatment for a persistent leg problem.

• On Thursday, October 30, Mombasa Governor and ODM Deputy Leader Abdulswamad Nassir received the doctors in Mombasa.
• The doctors were accompanied by Rosemary Odinga, Raila's daughter, who previously received successful treatment at the same Indian hospital for eyesight loss.
• Raila was at the Ayurvedic centre for five days before his sudden death and had pre-existing conditions including diabetes and hypertension.
