- The road is closed at Kilangata, Murkutwo, Chesongoch, and Kabetwa sections.
- A multi-agency rescue mission is underway, involving the Ministry of Interior, KeNHA, and the County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet.
- The vented drift across River Mon at Chesetan along Biretwo Arror Road also collapsed, cutting off about 40 metres of the road.
