Survivors report that Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have detained hundreds of men and boys near El-Fasher following their takeover of the city. Detainees describe systematic beatings, insults, and starvation.

• Hussein, one survivor, explained that he and approximately 200 other young men were held for days by RSF fighters in Garni, 25 kilometres northwest of El-Fasher.
• The RSF, which seized El-Fasher a week ago, has been accused of executions, sexual violence, looting, and abductions.
• Abbas al-Sadek, a lecturer, was released after a $900 ransom payment, while others like Zahra's son, Mohammed, remain missing.
• Doctors Without Borders (MSF) estimates over 65,000 people have fled El-Fasher, with many others trapped and reports of large-scale atrocities, including people being targeted for their skin color.
