Daniel Njenga secured victory at the 3rd edition of the 'Sotet' Golf tournament held at the par 71 Sea-link Mombasa Golf Club, braving strong Indian Ocean winds with 40 stableford points on a two-way countback.

The handicap 21 golfer from Diani’s Diamond Leisure Golf Resort Club attributed his win to focus despite the challenging weather conditions.
The 18-hole stableford tournament, organized by the ‘Sotet’ golfers Association (SGA), attracted 144 players from across Kenya.
Orpha Wamaitha (handicap 18) dominated the ladies' category with 40 points, while William Kaguta (handicap 1) was the gross winner with a 3 under par 68 gross score.
Other notable winners included Johnson Wamunyua for the senior title with 34 points and Mwai Mariga for the junior prize with 30 points.
