The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has secured interim court orders blocking the Kiambu County Government from releasing Sh166,295,500 to Filtronic International Limited. This follows an EACC investigation that uncovered an irregular and fraudulent contract award for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

• On October 31, 2025, Lady Justice Lucy Njuguna issued orders at the Milimani Law Courts to prevent funds release.
• Filtronic International Limited allegedly secured a Sh230 million tender by submitting falsified financial and bank statements, and fabricated employee details.
• The company had already received Sh63,704,500 from Kiambu County, with the EACC now seeking to recover this amount and halt further payments.
