The International Criminal Court (ICC) is investigating alleged mass killings and rapes by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) after they seized al-Fashir in Darfur, Sudan.

• Over 70,000 people have fled al-Fashir.
• The ICC has investigated atrocities in Darfur since 2005.
• The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross stated that history is repeating itself in Darfur, with the RSF now controlling over a quarter of Sudan.
