Trade between Kenya and the United Kingdom has surpassed the £2 billion (Ksh340 billion) mark for the first time, reaching £2.1 billion in the year ending September 2025. This represents an 11.9 percent increase from the same period in 2024, driven by growth in both exports and imports.
- Total trade value reached Ksh340 billion (£2.1 billion) in the year ending September 2025, with Kenyan exports to the UK increasing by 14 percent and UK exports to Kenya rising by 8 percent.
- The Ministry of Trade noted that Kenya exported goods worth Ksh63 billion (approximately £371 million) and services worth Ksh71.5 billion (approximately £421 million) to the UK during this period.
