Trade between Kenya and the United Kingdom (UK) has soared past Sh340 billion, driven by increased exports from both nations. This significant growth is attributed to a renewed Strategic Partnership aiming to double current trade by 2030.

• Total trade in goods and services rose by 11.9% over the previous year.
• Kenya exported goods worth Sh63 billion and services worth Sh71.5 billion, while UK exports to Kenya reached Sh134.6 billion in the year ending September 2025.
• The largest increase in exports was seen in animal and vegetable products, rising 15.6% to Sh28.7 billion, and beverages (including tea and coffee), up 12.8% to Sh24.3 billion.
• Principal Secretary, State Department for Trade Regina Ombam noted these statistics underscore a robust and expanding economic partnership.
