Leaders of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party reaffirmed their commitment to the broad-based government arrangement with President William Ruto's UDA at the late Raila Odinga's memorial service in Homa Bay County. The event, celebrating the former premier, also served as a rally for inter-party unity and voter registration ahead of the 2027 General Election.

• ODM leaders, including acting party leader Oburu Oginga and National Chairperson Gladys Wanga, called for robust voter registration efforts to boost the party's numbers.
• Governor Gladys Wanga declared, “We are in broad-based to stay because that is where Raila Odinga left us. In 2027 we are either the government or in the coalition that forms government.”
• Kisii Governor Simba Arati, attending a separate memorial in Nakuru County, supported the broad-based government until 2027 but emphasized adherence to a 10-point agenda, stating, “Tulisema hatutaki kuona ufisadi, hatutaki vijana kuuwawa ovyo ovyo, na ikiendelea basi hiyo sii broad-based.”
