The Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) is launching the Green Exchange Window (GEW), Africa's first dedicated platform for green, social, and sustainability-linked investments. This initiative aims to unlock new funding opportunities for sustainable projects across East Africa, particularly in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

The GEW will be unveiled during the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) Annual Conference in Kigali from November 26 to 28.
Bob Karina, founder and chairman of Faida Securities, notes that this marks a turning point for East Africa's capital markets towards sustainable finance.
The platform is designed to mobilize capital for climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable projects, aligning East Africa with global climate commitments like the Paris Agreement.
