The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the reopening of a section of the Kapyego–Chesoi–Kilangata (B15) road in Elgeyo Marakwet on Friday, November 7, after heavy rainfall and flooding had rendered it impassable. While traffic flow has been restored, clearance activities are still ongoing.

• Additional repairs: Other sections of roads in Elgeyo Marakwet County, including Kabetwa, Murkutwo, Kilangata, and Chesongoch, were also damaged and required restoration by a multi-agency team.
• Acting Director General Luka Kimeli urged motorists to drive carefully and observe road discipline.
• Upcoming closures: KeNHA also announced temporary closures of the Thika Superhighway at Juja Highpoint for milling and re-carpeting works on November 8-9 and November 15-16.
