The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a warning for moderate to heavy rains across various regions of Kenya this weekend, starting Friday, November 7, with some areas also experiencing significant temperature fluctuations.
- Rains are expected in Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, and the South-eastern lowlands.
- Regions like Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Nairobi will see night temperatures drop to 7°C.
- Coastal and northern counties such as Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo are projected to experience high daytime temperatures of up to 37°C.
