After 38 days of alleged abduction in Kampala, Kenyan activists Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo have been released. They were handed over to Kenyan authorities at the Busia border crossing.

• The release was confirmed by Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir Sing'Oei on Saturday, November 8.
• The activists were escorted by officials of the Ugandan government and received by Busia County Commissioner Chaunga Mwachaunga.
• Organizations including Amnesty International Kenya and the Law Society of Kenya welcomed the release, noting the involvement of the immediate former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta.
• Njagi and Oyoo, associated with the Free Kenya Movement, were reportedly abducted while attending a rally by Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine.
