The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has issued a 30-day ultimatum to importers to collect their goods currently held at the Inland Container Depot and bonded facilities in Nairobi, or face public auction.

• Affected goods include solar water heating systems, handbags, shoes, vehicles such as a Jeep Wrangler and a Mercedes-Benz, and various alcoholic beverages.
• The auction will take place between January 5, 2026, and January 9, 2026, via the authority's online portal, if goods remain unclaimed.
• Importers can view the goods on December 29-30, 2025, at locations including Chai Logistics Centre, Syokimau Inland Container Depot, and Rapid Rate Services.
