  • The reserved land measures approximately 6.765 hectares and is designated as Kisii Municipality Block 3/678.
  • NLC Chairperson Gershom Otachi confirmed the reservation notice, specifying the land's use for hospital expansion and prohibiting its transfer without NLC approval.
  • The County Government of Kisii must develop a land use and management plan within 180 days, ensuring 10 per cent tree cover and conducting Environmental and Social Assessments (ESIA) for major developments.
