A former employee of the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited (NCWSC), Gladys Babra Asembo, has been arraigned for allegedly using a forged Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate to secure employment. She faces multiple charges including fraudulent acquisition of Ksh.6,236,053.

• Gladys Babra Asembo was accused of using a falsified KCSE certificate to work as an ICT Assistant from June 27, 2012, to March 4, 2024.
• The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) launched the probe and forwarded findings to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
• Asembo denied the charges and was released on a bond of Ksh.1,000,000 with two sureties; a warrant for her arrest was issued on September 17, 2025, after she failed to appear in court on September 5, 2025.
