President William Ruto has strongly defended his administration's goal to transform Kenya from a Third World to a First World country, dismissing opposition leaders who he claims lack a clear agenda and engage in divisive politics.

• President Ruto allocated KSh7.4 billion for affordable housing, modern markets, and student hostels in Samburu County.
• The President performed the groundbreaking for a 302-unit affordable housing project in Samburu East Constituency and launched the tarmacking of the 20km Kisima-Sura Adoru road.
• He also broke ground for the construction of 340-bed student hostels at Samburu West Technical and Vocational College and commissioned the KSh760 million Maralal Water Supply Project to benefit over 70,000 households.
