Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama has officially announced his candidacy for the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) presidency for the 2026-2028 term, following a Ksh1 million pledge of support from former LSK President Nelson Havi.

Kanjama previously ran for LSK President in 2020, losing to Nelson Havi.
His campaign will focus on Rule of Law, Integrity, Practice & Welfare, and Engagement (RIPE).
Havi endorsed Kanjama in September, criticizing current LSK President Faith Odhiambo and pledging a campaign vehicle and his network in addition to the Ksh1 million.
Elections for the new LSK Council, including the president, are scheduled for February 2026.
