The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has clarified that Johnmark Ketorah is the legitimate President of the Youth League, refuting claims made in a publication circulated at a recent Mombasa event that named Samuel McOure for the role.

• ODM stated that claims of Samuel McOure being the Youth League President were "false and misleading."
• The official Youth League President is Johnmark Ketorah, appointed by the party's National Executive Council (NEC) in 2016.
• The clarification follows a misleading publication at the party's 20th anniversary ceremony in Mombasa County on Friday, November 14, 2025.
• Kasmuel McOure was previously appointed by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2024 as a member of the party's youth and student league.
• The announcement comes just after ODM approved changes in its leadership, with Siaya Senator Oburu Onginga as party leader.
