Kenya's 4th President Uhuru Kenyatta has fulfilled his promise to support the family of the late gospel artist Betty Bayo following her death. His office provided significant financial assistance and condolences to her family.

• Uhuru Kenyatta's office donated Ksh1 million to Betty Bayo's family, including her children and husband Huram Gitau, for funeral arrangements and to honor her legacy.
• The donation was announced by Office of the Fourth President's spokesperson Kanze Dena on Saturday, November 15, at Betty Bayo's home.
• Bayo passed away on Monday, November 10, after battling leukaemia, with her family revealing her health deteriorated a week prior.
• Uhuru Kenyatta praised Betty Bayo as "an extraordinary minister of the gospel whose music uplifted countless hearts and inspired hope across the nation."
• Plans also include the Kenyatta Foundation sponsoring the education of Betty Bayo's children.
