The National Youth Service (NYS) has issued a directive for its former members interested in joining the police force to report to the NYS Headquarters in Ruaraka for a special recruitment drive.
- Recruitment at Ruaraka (NYS Headquarters) is exclusively for ex-NYS members with a valid NYS Discharge Certificate.
- The recruitment, which will see 10,000 new constables recruited, is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm across 427 centers nationwide.
- Commandant General Samson Kiptum stated that the Discharge Certificate will serve as a gate pass to the Nairobi Holding Unit (NHU) Grounds.
- All ex-NYS candidates must also meet general requirements outlined in the official Kenya Police recruitment advertisements.
