Kenyan workers in Saudi Arabia are set to receive a new minimum wage of 1,000 Saudi Riyals (approximately Ksh34,455) per month, effective February 2026. This reform comes as part of ongoing labor changes in the Kingdom.

The new minimum wage for all workers in Saudi Arabia will be SAR 1,000 (about Ksh34,455) monthly.
The Kenyan Embassy in Riyadh announced the update, urging workers to confirm implementation with their employers.
Previously, there was no official minimum wage for foreign workers in Saudi Arabia, unlike for Saudi nationals who have a minimum wage of SAR 4,000 in the private sector and SAR 3,000 in the public sector.
