- The total increase of Kshs4.78 per kWh is due to increased fuel energy costs (381 cents), foreign exchange fluctuations (95.89 cents), and a Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) levy (1.29 cents).
- EPRA issued a notice in the November 14 issue of the Kenya Gazette detailing these adjustments, which will affect all meter readings taken in November 2025.
