Regional airline Jambojet has appointed Ayisi Makatiani, E.B.S., as its new Board Chairman, effective November 17, 2025. He replaces Vincent Rague, who served since December 2014.

• Mr. Makatiani previously served as founding Chairman of Jambojet and on the boards of Barclays Bank Kenya (now Absa Bank Kenya) and Kenya Airways PLC.
• Under the leadership of outgoing Chairman Vincent Rague, Jambojet achieved a sustained 12 percent annual growth rate and commanded over 50 percent of Kenya's domestic market.
• The airline enabled over nine million passengers to access air travel during the tenure of the previous Chairman and non-executive director.
