Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly Robert Alai has formally requested the removal of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Youth League Leader John Anitara Ketora, citing that Ketora exceeds the age limit for the position.

• Alai claims John Anitara Ketora is 41 years, 3 months old as of November 19, 2025, despite the youth leadership position being reserved for individuals aged 18 to 34.
• The demand was made in a letter addressed to ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen.
• Alai highlighted that Ketora's continued occupation of the office is illegal as he ceased being a youth by constitutional definition on August 12, 2019, when he turned 35.
