The students, all minors, were detained on allegations of planning a riot, sparking fears for their ongoing national examinations.

• Parents reported they were not informed of the arrests, despite the students being underage, and the children were neither charged nor booked.
• The arrests occurred just before the conclusion of the KCSE national exams, which began on October 21, 2025, and were scheduled to end on November 21, 2025.
• The Chairman of the school's Board of Management accompanied parents, stating that efforts to resolve the matter with the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) were unsuccessful.
