This commitment was made at the 7th AU–EU Summit in Luanda, marking 25 years of partnership between the blocs.
- The initiative will use Africa’s energy frameworks, including the Africa Single Electricity Market (AfSEM), to prioritize renewable energy for rural electrification and sustainable industrialization.
